From C2R:
The Big Boom Theory

2000-2004:107000 words

A surrealist study of tourism, conservation and development amidst communes of Israeli and European expatriate communities who hide in hamlets in certain taboo hobbitesque valleys of the western Indian Himalaya. It is based on three gonzo anthropology trips in the area in 2000 and 2003 and the logical extension of recording an album of experimental music with a Swiss mystic who whiles away the days in a remote village that suffers as the construction site of the second largest dam in India where escalating mafia wars between local dons and underground overlanders on the run from the law ensure that they have lost themselves one-and-all in a paradise lost.

To See the Source:
Don't Look Back

2003-2006:320000 words

Picking up on the above themes and issues, this novel is an account of pilgrimage, conservation and development as viddied over a 6 month solo journey I took, following the Ganges from its Himalayan source on the border with Tibet to where it meets the sea in the Bay of Bengal. Being one of the great rivers of the world, as dug by the likes of Pythagoras thru Alexander the (not so) Great, Nehru and nearupon near every soul bent on some understanding of the all too terrible and great world, the novel investigates tensions of sustainability amidst unsustainable human pressures. What follows is a wild form foray of traveling along its length, hanging with people from all walks of life (politicians, polluters, crusaders, contributors, artists, activists, anarchists, scholars, saints, scoundrels, sadhus, sannyassis, sages, seers, swagmen, madmen, mystics, and mendicants...)

Essays (if you are into indymedia in india)

...the following (soon 2B posted) essays form part of the set of the backdrop near the backstage part of the background to the subjects of C2R+2CtheSource+come20. The novels are experimental in form+content, being composed in a wild form rendition of stream-of-conciousness/spontaneous prose rantings, ravings and droolings. But they're not all word-play/games-for-may: the essays on Indian anthropology, history, politics, and on Hindu+Buddist theology, mythology and philosophy, were me sergent Major Mori's for undergrad majors in Anthropology and Philosophy at Sydney University.

Rantings (raving and drooling)

...are tidbits of miscellenia relating to manguage (mangled language)...

...for the time being they're embedded in aural explorations in psychaedelicatessen, but to follow soon will be spoken word renditions of 'word-paintings' and extracts from word-plays/games-for-may where sentiments such as
"it goes without saying",
"words fail me" and
"away with words"
will be voiced...
